One way to get me going after a rough night is exercise, in any form. Whether it’s yoga, which is relaxing but still exercise, or something more invigorating, exercise in any form gets the blood flowing and makes you feel more alive. Sometimes I catch a local kickboxing class when I can make it work with my schedule. This week was one of those weeks. One hour of stretching, kicking, punching, and martial arts moves can get anyone awake and feeling better. The best part about my class is that it’s at the same dance studio where my girls take lessons, so they took a class while I did. You have to love family gym time.
