Travel can be stress inducing and that can affect my sleep. When my husband travels, too, all bets are off. This was one of the worst weeks of sleep I’ve had in a while. Between worrying about getting ready for my trip, getting my kids ready to be cared for while I’m away and worrying about my husband away overseas, I almost wonder why I bothered even trying to sleep. Thank goodness for the techniques and tips Natalie suggested because I think that’s the only reason I got any sleep this week at all. Oh, and sometimes a little arts and crafts fun can be a good destresser, too.
