I entered this project with an open mind and I had some positive results. I don’t think I’m completely cured of my sleep problems. Not at all.
But they are better, and I feel like there’s a bit of hope and balance in my sleep, which wasn’t there before. I would absolutely recommend anyone struggling with insomnia to do a bit of introspection and analysis of your sleep. I wasn’t quite aware that there were so many factors that contributed to my sleep problems. I also didn’t know that there were a lot of resources, and behavioral changes that I could easily make. I was a bit skeptical that behavioral modification could affect my sleep in a positive way. But I was surprised, and I bet if others put in some effort with some of the strategies on the National Sleep Foundation website, they could potentially improve their sleep just as quickly as I did.
