Valencia has struggled with both falling and staying asleep for the past three years. As a newlywed with a demanding career, her lifestyle makes it challenging to prioritize sleep.


I Feel Good Today

I feel good today! I woke up at my normal time, and knocked out a few chores before heading to church. And *drumroll*, I didn’t have to take a nap at all today! It’s 9:00 p.m., and I’m not even tired. That’s incredible for me. I should probably shut the computer down, so I can be tired by 11:00 p.m., but I’m really excited about the change in progress.

I’ve been working hard at keeping a sleep schedule and cutting off electronics by 10:00 p.m. Now that the work week is starting, I’ll get to see how the relaxation techniques work out.
